MCVI was established in 2010 by Michael Corsar and Six Wu after having worked together extensively over a 12 year period.
Michael has worked at a number of prominent design studios over the past 25 years, including Wolff Olins, Pentagram, PearsonLloyd and Studio De Lucchi in Milan, before establishing MCVI with Six in 2010.
As a multidisciplinary designer working across the fields of product and packaging design, furniture and retail systems, through retail interiors and interior architecture, his focus has been on creating distinctive brand experiences and architectural environments for clients.
Bringing brands to life primarily through retail and architectural interiors, Michael has worked across sectors including Telecommunications, Retail Banking and Financial Services, Workplace environments, Fashion Retail, Leisure and Entertainment, as well as Transportation and Residential, defining, designing and delivering brands around the world.
He is keenly interested the emotional capacity of places and looks to deliver purposeful experiences that are culturally rich, adding value, meaning and relevance.
Six Wu studied industrial design at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Royal College of Art. After graduating with an MA(RCA) in 1995, he joined Pentagram in London, working for clients such as Lego, Pantone, Swatch, Boots and United Airlines. In 2002, he joined Wolff Olins as a design consultant, developing products and environments as part of brand strategies. Six rejoined Pentagram as an Associate Partner in 2006 before establishing MCVI with Michael in 2010, where he continues to work on a wide variety of projects that encompass product design, packaging, interiors and art direction.
